MOM never disappoints

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian Space Research Organization [ISRO] scientists on the success of Mars Orbiter Mission [MOM].India became the first Asian country to reach Mars and also the first in the world to enter Martian orbit in its first attempt. The Mars Orbiter Mission is India's first interplanetary mission which was launched on November 5, 2013 with the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle [PSLV].

The MOM was approved by then UPA government in 2012 and has spent around Rs 450 crores for this mission. Read more ..
