Madho Singh established his empire in Bhagarh and made this fort his

before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited. Legal action would be taken against anybody who does not follow these instructions."
The

states that Princess of Bhangarh, Ratnavati was loved by a magician.
This magician apparently uses black magic on the oil purchased by
Ratnavati so that the latter surrenders herself to the magician once she
touches the oil. Ratnavati on getting to know this poured it to the
ground. This act was said to have claimed the life of magician. While
dying, magician cursed that this village would be ruined. The next year
Princess Ratnavati was killed in a battle between Bhagarh and Ajabgarh.

restricted between sunset and sunrise. Also, people believe that
whoever enters the fort during this time will never return and they
would apparently turn into ghosts.
