Caught in Padmavyuham
Congress
MP s from Telangana region are going to meet at KK's residence in Delhi
today to discuss their future course of action in the wake of the
alleged remarks made against them TRS leader K Chandrashekara Rao. What
exactly MP s from Telangana region are going to discuss in the meeting?
Will that really help them defend from the word stones pelted by KCR at
least in future? A report!
When the
Centre was unable to spell out its decision on Telangana by the said
deadline (which was January 28), the man who claimed himself to be a
steering of statehood movement in Andhra Pradesh, Mr K Chandrashekara
Rao plunged into the action. While he took on the big wigs of Congress,
he didn't spare the leaders from this region and said they should come
out of party.
After
hearing these words from KCR, MP s seemed to have got biggest shock of
life. While they have been apparently struggling to getting noticed that
they are major persons behind convincing Centre on Telangana, KCR
almost spoiled their image in the public. The damage to MP s was almost
clearly visible. How would they repair the damage done to them? Will
coming out of Congress party is the only option available before them or
convincing Congress to come out with a decision within a week a better
solution to the same? While the former step might convince those
criticizing Congress leaders, it might tarnish their political mileage
without any doubt and second step would almost be next to impossible,
opined observers as they felt that over half-a-dozen MP s might not
convince Centre to jump to a decision overnight.
So, it
looks like MP s from Telangana region are more or less caught in a padmavyuham. How would they come out of this first and protect
themselves—in terms of their image and political mileage seems to be the
content of today's meeting.
