Jagan Stays Away From Chandrababu

Jagan Stays Away From Chandrababu

Jagan stays away from Chandrababu

YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan is rumored to be keeping himself away as TDP leaders are approaching him to invite for Chandrababu Naidu swearing ceremony which is slated on June 8th. In fact the TDP sources say that Chandrababu himself called upon Jagan twice but he was unavailable to respond the call.

So Chandrababu Naidu decided to send TDP team specially to Jagan's residence and offer invitation for the swearing ceremony. TDP leaders are currently trying for Jagan's appointment nonetheless something is bothering Jagan and he is staying away.

The YSRCP insiders are reluctant to comment on this but added that if invitation is sent, then Jagan would consider of taking part in the swearing ceremony. This attitude of Jagan is troubling the party since very long time however, few are saying that Jagan needs to be more diplomatic in political equations.

100 Days of Samaikyandhra Movement in Seemandhra

100 Days of Samaikyandhra Movement in Seemandhra

100 Days of Samaikyandhra Movement in Seemandhra

Seemandhra people have been protesting for 100 days against the Center's decision on July 30, to bifurcate the State. In the above photo Samaikyandhra activists sat in the formation of 100 at the Clock Tower Center in Anantapur to mark the 100th day of the agitation.

The Congress Working Committee has taken a decision to bifurcate the State of Andhra Pradesh which is the first linguistic State to form in the country.  Now the same Federal Government that unified the regions in which the people talk the same language in 1956 is now stepping forward to disintegrate it.  After the decisionof the CWC the matter has gone to the Cabinet which formed a GoM to make observations about the situation in the State regarding the bifurcation.

The congress Government has been adamantly sticking to its decision in spite of the prolonged protests in Seemandhra for Samaikyandhra.  APNGOs initiated the stir among the employees which was supported by all Seemandhra employees and RTC employees that caused a deadlock and brought the State functioning to stand still in the Seemandhra region.  Even the cyclone and floods and plight of the employees without salaries for over 2 months and business circles with revenue did not weaken the movement.

Usually a movement is backed up by a political party but the Samaikyandhra movement came from the people of the region from all the sections.  Not only the activists are not backed up by the politicians but the activists made it difficult to the politicians.  The political leaders stayed back at Hyderabad or at Delhi but did not go back to their constituencies without a firm promise to give but the matter is in the hands of the Congress party high command and it is not clear to any leadr in the party.  Activists attacked residences of the political leaders.

Another notable point is the Chief Minister’s stand.  Kiran Kumar Reddy has been fighting against bifurcation right from the moment CWC took the decision.  For the first time in the history of Congress party a Chief Minister of the party wrote a letter to the President and the Prime Minister opposing the decision of the Government.  He has been called today to brief him and make him ready for the undisputed passing of the bifurcation note in the Assembly.

The opposition parties in the State are also against the bifurcation and against the unilateral decision taken by the Government.  But still the Congress Government at the Center wants to go ahead sticking to its decision in spite of the blame from all other parties that all it is to gain power in the State which slipping out of hand.  But the political scene is not indicating favorable conditions to the Congress party in the State.  Seemandhra is ruled out but even Telangana region is doubtful as the expected merger of TRS with Congress party is not assured in the wake of TRS getting politically strengthened after the decision on the formation of Telangana state is announced.

The very congress party leaders are hoping that at least the high command must be clear about the steps it is taking.

In the wake of the agitation in Seemandhra the congress party though not showing outwardly is going ahead stepping cautiously. An all party meet is called and opinions were solicited from all parties and associations.  Based on the opinions gathered the Home Ministry has made its note in a book form consisting of 400 pages to present to the GoM.

Political Animosity In The State

Political Animosity In The State, Courtesy Power Hunger

Political animosity in the state, courtesy power hunger

Political-animosity-01Democratic India is 'for the people, by the people and of the people'....inspite of almost seven decades of independence, politicians seem to realise the actual meaning of the above only during elections. No sooner the ordeal is over the winners are afected by short term memory loss while the losers feel deprived and negelect the same.

Political-animosity-02Our state is no different either, nevertheless this time the animosity seems to be on the rage with fierce comeptitions from splits. True Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress party has split from the parent of all parties Congress, while K Chandrashekar Rao's TRS split from an alliance with TDP. Now all the four are vying for power in the general elections scheduled in 2014.

Political-animosity-03In the process tall claims and taller promises are being made to prove themselves the best alternative. Adding to this the topping of the icing is massive walkathons. While the ordeal in the recent times was started by the Congress Cheif Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He travelled by various modes of conveyance to launch his 'Indiramma Baata'.

Political-animosity-04 But his contemporaries embarked on a more critical walkathons, probably they have all the time to lure the public when compared to the CM who is decked up with hectic schedule. TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu embarked on "Vastunna Mee Kosam' and is trekking across the state while showing his multi colours by intermingling with various sections.

Political-animosity-05 Following him is younger scion of the late Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy, Sharmila who is also on a similar but massive programme, 'Maro Praja Prasthanam.'  The YSR Congress leader took the roads after her sibling was refused bail several times in the disproportionate asets case.

Political-animosity-06 The TDP veteran took a dig at the TRS Chief whether he could take a walk with him even for a week, as a remark to the former stating that the TDP chief's brain had been deceased earlier. So that confirms that the TRS chief is really not embarking on any walkathons as of now.

Political-animosity-07In an another controversial statement the YSRCP honrary President Y S Vijayamma at Kukatpally the other day said that the TDP supremo was born on April 20 or 4/20 and in Indian Penal Code 420 means a persons who are dishonest and are cheating by nature. On the other hand TDP supremo has frequently highlighted that Jagan has looted the state and Vijayamma with Sharmila are small time robbers.

Political-animosity-08 On the whole animosity between the political parties is growing at alarming propositions. However because of this many scams and discrepancies are being unearthed. And on account every body had some bitter past.

Political-animosity-09This leaves the public in dilemma as to whom to reinstate in the state. While every party has a steady set of followers which almost account to eighty percent of the public, the rest 20 odd percent make the difference. Which way will the vote bank swing? With not much of options at hand what will happen if the one dreaded by you comes to power?...just think before you ink....(Wishesh-AarKay)
